AGA PLC, now re-named ( AGA RANGEMASTER ) with an annual turnover of around £300 million pounds, makers of the world’s most famous cooker brand have formed a partnership with Twyford Cookers, one of the UK’s most respected reconditioners and renovators, to offer an Aga backed scheme for the renovation and reconditioning of Agas. This unique partnership is built around the formation of a new company called AGA TWYFORD, which is now the only authorised vendor of reconditioned and renovated Agas.
This move means that Aga Twyford customers will be assured of a top-class product and the highest levels of customer care whether they are purchasing a renovated Aga or having their own reconditioned. The C.E.O. and Managing Director of the new company is Ian Norman.
Any Aga renovated or reconditioned by Aga Twyford will be fully tested and, wherever possible, any replacement parts used will be official Aga spares or approved Aga Twyford spares. The partnership also adds yet further to the green credentials of both companies, with Aga Twyford agreeing to return any cookers which cannot be renovated or reconditioned to Aga. These will then be melted down to make the next generation of Agas, 70% of which come from reclaimed iron.
